2022-2023: Elementary Tuition & Application/Book Fee

K-6TH ANNUAL TUITION

$3,600 / yr

Tuition for grades K-6th for the 2022-2023 school year has been set at $3,600.  This tuition can be paid in full by July 15, 2022 or broken into 12 monthly payments of $305 (which totals $3,660) beginning July 15, 2022 and ending June 15, 2023. Families who register after July 15 can contact the school to discuss an alternate monthly payment plan.

A non-refundable enrollment application/book fee is required for both new and returning students.  The 2022-2023 enrollment application/book fee for grades K-6th is $125 during the months of February through April. The fee increases to $200 on May 1.

2022-2023: Secondary Tuition & Application/Book Fee

7TH-12TH ANNUAL TUITION

$4,150 / yr

Tuition for grades 7th-12th for the 2022-2023 school year has been set at $4,150.  This tuition can be paid in full by July 15, 2022 or broken into 12 monthly payments of $350 (which totals $4,200) beginning July 15, 2022 and ending June 15, 2023. Families who register after July 15 can contact the school to discuss an alternate monthly payment plan.

A non-refundable enrollment application/book fee is required for both new and returning students. The 2022-2023 enrollment application/book fee for grades 7th-12th is $250 during the months of February through April. The fee increases to $350 on May 1.

Additional Fees

TUITION COLLECTION FEE FOR MONTHLY PAYMENTS

For monthly payers, we use a tuition collection company called Blackbaud Tuition. This service offers the convenience of different payment options. There is an annual per-family fee of $25 to be a monthly payer and use Blackbaud Tuition.

VOLUNTEER OPT-OUT FEE

We encourage all of our families to volunteer at the school to meet the parent volunteer requirements. For those who are unable to do so, there is a volunteer opt-out fee of $1000 per family. This is billed at $100 per month, September through June.

FIELD TRIP AND SPECIAL EVENT FEES

Elementary students usually go on approximately three paid field trips per year for cultural enrichment or to enhance their historical and scientific studies. Kindergarten typically goes on 6-7 field trips. A fee of $5-10 is generally charged to parents to cover the cost of the trip.

Secondary students usually go on two paid field trips per year. A fee of $8-15 is generally charged to parents to cover the cost of the trip. High school students (9th grade and up) attend a high school protocol event in the spring term. The fee for this is usually around $50 a student.

EARLY WITHDRAWAL FEE

Families who wish to withdraw their enrolled student prior to the end of the school year should submit their withdrawal request in writing to the school. If requested, tuition refunds will be on a prorated basis based on the number of school days left. In usual circumstances, each student withdrawn after July 15 will be assessed a $200 Early Withdrawal Fee prior to tuition being refunded.

 

Discounts and Scholarships

SCHOLARSHIPS

Paideia has a Generosity Fund for families in need of tuition assistance. Scholarships are awarded based on availability of funds and need of applicants. Families desiring a scholarship should should indicate this on their enrollment application. Most of our scholarships are awarded at the end of May, so it is best to have scholarship requests submitted early to receive tuition assistance.

PASTORS’ DISCOUNT

Paideia offers a 15% tuition discount for students who are the children of ordained Christian pastors in full-time ministry at a church. Please note this on your enrollment application if you would like to apply for the pastor’s discount.

LARGE FAMILY DISCOUNT

Paideia offers a 20% tuition discount for the fourth enrolled child in a family and beyond.

TEACHER DISCOUNT

Paideia offers a 40% tuition discount for full time Paideia teachers whose children are enrolled at Paideia.
