Paideia Classical Christian School is seeking men and women who are strong in their faith, grounded in the Word of God, and passionate about cultivating wisdom, eloquence, and virtue in young people. 

Since Paideia is a half-day school (8:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., Monday – Friday), our “full time” positions are approximately two-thirds the time and salary of positions at other local private schools. Full time Paideia teachers receive a 40% tuition discount on tuition for their children who are enrolled at Paideia.

Third Grade Classroom Teacher

Third Grade Classroom Teacher

Responsible for instilling piety and teaching all core subjects in third grade classroom. School hours are 7:30-12:30 a.m. (Monday-Friday) with prep/grading on own schedule. Starting salary: $20,000/yr. 

Elementary Music Teacher

Elementary Music Teacher

Teach solfege, rhythm skills, hymns, folk songs, and classical pieces to elementary-level students. Schedule is two days a week for three hours at a time, for a total of six hours per week. Pay is $17/hr.

Secondary Humanities Teacher

Secondary Humanities Teacher

Teach a variety of literature, rhetoric, history, and/or Bible classes to junior high and high school students. Depending on teacher’s skill set and interest, these classes could also be combined with Latin or math openings. Salary is dependent on number of classes taught and teacher’s experience. Five classes is considered full time.

Teach math up through Calculus and a variety of high school level science classes. Depending on teacher’s skill set and interest, these classes could also be combined with openings for humanities classes. Salary is dependent on number of classes taught and teacher’s experience. Five classes is considered full time.
